I’m sure we’ve all seen the same baby shower themes before. Ready to Pop, Florals, Bees, and More Don’t get me wrong: I love all of these themes, but every now and then you simply want to organize a party that no one else has seen on Pinterest—are I right or am I right?
So, in case you’re looking for a theme for your own baby shower or arranging a celebration for that special mom-to-be, I’ve got a fresh gorgeous baby shower theme to inspire you today!
Cacti has become a little passion of mine over the last year. It all started when I saw a tiny green house with six different teeny tiny but oh-so-cute cactus at Trader Joe’s one day.
I’ll confess it: I fell in love at first sight! This new baby shower theme, A Cactus Cutie Baby Shower, was inspired by some cute miniature cacti I spotted.
There are a few reasons why a Cactus Cutie Baby Celebration theme is ideal for practically any shower. It’s gender-neutral and non-seasonal, so it’s appropriate for practically anyone at any time of year!
Because all of my Cactus Cutie printables are available, you’ll notice in the following photographs that I’ve made it easy for you to throw this identical baby shower yourself.
To begin, I created some Cactus Cutie Invitations and Envelope Liners in the Cactus Print style. I adore the look of these lovely little smiling Kawaii faces on these potted watercolor cacti—both parent and baby! Also, I adored this small tabletop battery-operated cactus light—the it’s ideal shower accent!
Consider putting up a welcome sign as visitors enter the shower to make the expecting mom feel particularly special. It’s a lovely way to let everyone know they’ve arrived at the appropriate location, and it also serves as a nice remembrance for the expecting mother. The baby cacti onesies are adorable, aren’t they?
When I had my own baby shower many years ago, one of my favorite things we did was have experienced moms write me small morsels of baby advice.
I treasured their handwritten words of wisdom, so I made a tabletop sign that reads “Words of Advice for the Mom-to-Be,” as well as smaller matching cards for the guests to write on.
The finished cards can be strung on a clothesline or placed in a scrapbook with small clothespins. Of course, using a cactus pen to fill out these cards is a requirement!
The baby cacti onesie banner is one of my favorites from this event. It’s ideal because it’s gender-neutral! I used tiny wooden clothespins to attach the baby onesies to the rope to make them look like they were hanging on a clothesline. It can be hung on a mantel, above your dining tables, or above your gift pile!
At your Cactus Cutie Baby Shower, you must have a dessert table! Consider putting a backdrop behind your dessert table. It comes with the same coordinating baby cacti onesies as the rest of your decor. I also got this sweet cactus banner to drape over the front of my dessert table.
Why not use baby onesie cupcake toppers and cactus cupcake wrappers to create the cutest cupcakes you’ve ever seen?
“Welcome, Baby!” is written on the front of the treat bags. These bags would be ideal for popcorn as well.
For my centerpieces, I utilized Meri Meri plates, glasses, and napkins, as well as stickers from Meri Meri, and I got these cacti online.
Finally, I’ve tried to take the worry out of arranging a baby shower for you by offering a Cactus Cutie “Party in a Box”! It’s all of the goods I mentioned above, but when you buy them all at once, you save money!
I hope you’ve enjoyed learning about a fresh baby shower theme and, perhaps, been inspired to throw your own Cactus Baby Shower!

Tips Before Sending Out the Invitations
Make sure to include all of the relevant information while arranging your baby shower and sending out the invites. The parents’ names, as well as the event’s date and time, should all be included.
If the event isn’t being hosted by one of the parents, include the venue and who is hosting it. You can also mention the child’s name and gender in the shower invitation if you know what they are.
When preparing a baby shower, it’s important to send out invites as soon as possible. At the very least, a month before the shower, send out the invitations. This gives guests enough time to free their schedules, respond to your invitation, and purchase a present for the baby.
