We’re kicking off our new theme today with these super cute art party invitations. An art party is a great party theme because it lends itself to a variety of activities and hands-on fun. Painting, drawing, pottery spinning, and sculpting are all possibilities for a fun and engaging art party.
While not a dedicated “art” celebration, this week was inspired by my daughter’s recent birthday. At the event, we set up an art station and it was a massive hit with the kids. Each of the kids got to decorate their own birdhouse which they took home at the end of the day. To cut the long story short, why don’t we look at what I used as my daughter’s birthday party invitation card?
An added bonus of the art station at my daughter’s birthday was that was a great way for shy kids or kids that were new to the wider group a way to engage with everyone while they found their feet. By the end of their crafting session, everyone was running around having a great time. This lovely invitation is clearly having those capabilities to decorate your basic invite and amaze your guests with its now beauty. With tie dye-like background, alongside the cute stars and colorful wording, I’d say it’s already showing off your great sense of art to your family and friends.

Additional Tips
Since many of you were asking about “which paper should I use?”, I’m going to give you a little explain about it. Actually, it all depends on what occasion you are going to have. If it’s for your kid’s birthday, I think cardstock paper is more than enough for you, it does have great durability as well as better finishes.
