Dessert Ideas
A milk bar was on the dessert table. I built the backdrop out of pink and blue quilted pieces with cow photographs, then added a cow print banner, a milk jug made out of poster board, and strung streamers for a pop of pink and blue.
I made a cake with a fondant baby cow in a diaper and pink and blue cupcakes in the shape of a blanket. We also included a lot of tasty goodies in blue and pink.
Party Decorations
We had a great time exploring for inspiration and ideas on Pinterest. We discovered that they aren’t that popular, so we had to come up with a lot of stuff ourselves. That’s even better!
I’ve always liked cows, and black and white is trendy and simple to decorate with. We used the standard black and white linens, plates, and napkins.
Some of the extras included balloon arch kits. The tiny kits were utilized for the highchair and a table runner. Tip: Make these balloons the day before because they are time consuming. We did this and were able to take photos inside the day prior.
Having those pictures from the day before came in handy because we were all so busy having fun that we didn’t get any shots taken on the day of the party. Don’t do it. Take a few moments to take some shots. Or appoint someone to do it for you, as we should have.
