Party Decorations
Because the Nerf colors are blue and orange, you can decorate the party in those hues.
Cover your party goodies table, food table, and the table where the kids will eat pizza with orange, blue, or camouflage tablecloths.
Plain orange colored plates or Nerf party plate sets are available for plates and napkins.
Finally, to round off the look, hang some orange and blue streamers. Tape a couple Nerf bullets to the streamers if you want to go really creative.
Battlefield
A battlefield and bases are required for a Nerf War. It will provide a safe haven for the children to duck, hide, and shoot. It also appears to be cooler, particularly if you have an open garden or basement.
The first step is to collect large empty boxes of various sizes and shapes. Solicit some from your friends and neighbors. Alternatively, inquire at your local or grocery shop.

Set up a table with all of the children’s favors near the entrance to the party. To make it more festive, use an orange tablecloth and orange streamers. Place the nail apron packed with 10-20 bullets, safety glasses, and a Nerf gun, if applicable, on the table.
Bandannas can be cut lengthwise and tied to the arms of the children to distinguish the teams. Choose two colors, one for each side, and put them on their nail aprons.
