Donut Birthday Party Story: For months I have been admiring the crafty work of my friends, Anna and James! Their style is so whimsical and refreshing – everything is hand drawn and always has a splash of sparkle!
Below is a showcase of my beautiful work which is clearly inspired by my friend’s awesome birthday bash for their little daughter. Ready for creative doughnut invitation ideas! Don’t miss our famous 3-minute invitation card hacks!
I’ve gotten so much joy and happiness at my friend’s “Two Sweet” birthday bash, celebrating their daughter 2nd birthday with a cup of tea, donuts and other dainty sweet treats. Those are shaping the ideas behind today’s adorable and yet so yummy invitations.
The adorable and delicious theme here has brought several ideas that I personally pleased by them. First thing first, the white layer that sits at the back was just plain, basic layer, before I started to fill it with colorful dots and bunch of the glazed donuts that will make everyone mouthwatering.

Additional Tips
Since many of you were asking about “which paper should I use?”, I’m going to give you a little explain about it. Actually, it all depends on what occasion you are going to have. If it’s for your kid’s birthday, I think cardstock paper is more than enough for you, it does have great durability as well as better finishes.
