Lego Birthday Party Ideas
When it comes to having simple Lego birthday parties, I’ve found that the key is to do it at home, be creative, and be judicious with how you DIY – buying things that are more time consuming to DIY so that you may DIY more of the others.
With that in mind, I’d like to share some of the LEGO birthday party ideas we explored, as well as some ideas from my friends. You’ll find low-cost activities, food, favor ideas, and decorations, among other things!
Party Decorations
Make these lovely Lego heads with different faces out of your corn starch jars for easy party décor. There’s no need to paint them because they’re already the ideal colour of yellow. Simply draw on the various facial expressions, and you’re done. Even better, your kids can keep their Legos in these jars when the celebration is done.
Make some of your furniture out of Legos! It’s a brilliant concept. You are not required to imagine big… Building your own utensil and napkin holder, for example, can have a great visual impact. Add some hot glue to put it in place and use it to hold cutlery, napkins, or perhaps future LEGO supplies.
Boxes, wrapping paper, and construction paper can all be used to make huge Lego “bricks.” Faces drawn on yellow balloons can also be used to make Lego faces. Both of these options are simple and inexpensive; for decorations, you might want to look at the Dollar Tree.
Using construction paper, tape, a hole punch, and thread, make a Lego bricks garland. How simple is that LEGO banner to make? It’s a simple way to add color to your party decor without putting in a lot of effort.
Food Ideas
Make a quick snack using Lego cheese and crackers. They’re easy to create and the kids will enjoy them. To cut the circles, all you need are crackers, cheese, and a little fondant cutter or knife. It’s that simple!
Do you want to serve a nutritious snack at your next gathering? These Lego frozen yogurt bricks prepared with fresh strawberries, blueberries, yogurt, and honey are the answer. Parents will be relieved to have one fewer sugary item to choose from!
Make colorful yellow Lego head marshmallow pops using ordinary marshmallows! To get started with this simple LEGO cake pops lesson, gather ordinary marshmallows, mini marshmallows, yellow candy melts, and lollipop sticks. They make excellent party munchies, as well as lovely LEGO cake decorations and post-party favors.
Making Lego sandwiches is also a breeze. Children love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, but you can make them with deli meat and cheese or even veggie sandwiches if you like. To make them look like bricks, simply place the bread circles on top. During the school year, they’d be a nice addition to kids’ lunchboxes.
At the dessert table, serve some delectable Lego brownies. To make them faster, use a brownie mix or a box or two of Little Debbie brownies.
Birthday Cakes
What could be more classic than Lego bricks? This Lego birthday cake looks just like the blocks and will be a big hit. Bake the frosting any color you choose, or make a couple of smaller cakes for different-colored bricks. This cake is made with boxed cake mixes, which saves time when it comes to getting ready for the big day.
This fun Lego head cake captures the look of Lego mini-figures. The fun part is that you can make the head have any emotion you choose! It’s easy to put together than it appears; all it takes is a little patience and time. To achieve the brilliant yellow look, I suggest using pre-colored fondant.
This magnificent Lego block cake, which is covered in bright bricks and has a fascinating block design inside, will truly wow your party attendees. This is another cake that makes use of a boxed cake mix, which is fantastic. With a checkerboard cake pan set, creating the blocked colors within is simple.
Finally, if you like cupcakes, these fun and quick Lego cupcakes with a sugar melt brick on top could not be any easier. You can create them any color you choose, and a dozen cupcakes can be assembled in about an hour. It’s an excellent last-minute party planning idea.
Party Favors
Make some interesting Lego man crayons by upcycling all of your old broken crayons! Talk about low-cost favors! Apart from the cost of the mold, the miniature LEGO crayons would be completely free! To go, everyone has its own minifigure. You may also make chocolate Lego characters with the mold.
Make Lego friendship bracelets for all of the party guests using some bricks and colored yarn. The youngsters can help with the construction, but an adult will need to drill the holes in the bricks for the yarn to pass through.
