You’re probably aware that Mattel’s Monster High franchise has been a great success. The dolls, products, books, and DVDs, which were originally designed for tweens, have become “it” for females of all ages.
If your daughter adores Draculaura, Frankie Stein, and the rest of the Monster High gang, plan a frightening birthday for her using these Monster High party ideas.
Birthday Decorations
At a Monster High party, the correct decorations can make all the difference! Use black, pink, and white decorations, and add Cheerleader party supplies to your Monster High decorations.
Below are some more fantastic Monster High decoration ideas:
Photo Ops
The Monster High scene setter will transform your home into a skullastic delight. The five-piece design is simple to install on any wall, resulting in an unsettlingly swift makeover. For a fang-tastic photo op, the ghouls can pose next to their favorite monsters.
Banners
Hang Monster High banners at the party’s entrance. Make Monster High-themed posters or cutouts to put around the party area.
To imitate the Monster High scenario, make lockers out of butcher paper and line the walls of your Monster High party area with them!
Table Setting
We adore this fun Monster’s High tablecloth, which serves as the ideal backdrop for our dessert celebration. A gorgeous background is another fantastic addition to any dessert table. Party napkins were used to make this one. We just hung the napkins in a row.
We are quite satisfied with the results. It’s the ideal place for Monster High’s Happy Birthday banner, which is larger than life. It’s an excellent way to begin a birthday celebration.
Toys
As Monster High decorations, scatter Monster High toys about the party space.
Balloons
Arrange pink, black, and white balloons in a circle around the party area. Include a few Monster High balloons in your decorations for a fun touch.
Dessert Table
In the center of the table, I glittered paper mache letters for “FAB,” then designed paper talk bubbles to print and cut for “Freaky” and “Fun.” DIY paper chain garlands hung over the table, adding a playful touch.
Using the dolls in your treat displays is a terrific way to suddenly change the look of your dessert table! I arranged the Getting Ghostly Twyla and Draculaura dolls on plates of rock candy sticks and made little paper banners for them to grasp.
To really make the decorations pop, go with the primary hues of hot pink, black, and blue. This party exemplifies how well-chosen décor combined with delectable sweets can create a party table that is sure to turn heads.
Do you like to hear a mixture of Oh’s and Ah’s as the ladies arrive at the party? This is definitely going to work. It’s a pretty gorgeous party table with a grown-up girl atmosphere.
Birthday Cakes
No party is complete without a yummy cake. When you decorate mini cakes with Monster High Ghouls, candles, and sprinkles, you’ll be sure to wow your guests!
We enjoy dessert tables with a variety of choices, so cupcakes were a must! Our pink glitter cupcake wrappers added just the right amount of ghoulishness to them!
Our cookies were also topped with the same hearts. Simply glue them on with a dab of icing on the backs. They simply add a special touch to our favorite cookies!
These are just a few ideas for a Monster High party that we might throw. We’d love to know how you went about throwing yours!
Party Games
Monster High is a hit with young girls. We love their message – Be Yourself. Be Unique. Be a Monster! Here are some party games that you could play at your Monster High Party.
Monster High Dance Competition
Play the Monster High theme tune and let all of the girls show off their fantastic insane monster dance routines, but when the music stops, everyone must cease moving.
Any player that moves is eliminated from the game until the next round. Continue to play until just one dancer is left. She is crowned the Monster Ball’s Queen.
Fear Squad Tryouts
It’s time to practice for the fear squad, so get your pom poms ready. Fear squad is a well-known group. What the Fear Squad Captain, Cleo De Nile, is up to! Players take turns as Cleo and make up cheer motions in this party game.
It’s up to the other players to see who can repeat the move. In a Simon Says adaptation, this might also be used. When Cleo begins her directions with “Cleo Says,” players must follow her orders.
Monster Celebrity Head
This is a simple game that works well as a pre-game warm-up. The names of the Monster High characters should be written on the envelope labels.
Each girl is given a sticker to paste on her forehead, and she is allowed to ask questions and receive a YES or NO response. If they get a NO, the following player asks a question to figure out which Monster High Character they are.
