Birthday invitations are the first look at the big event. They’re the first taste of what’s to come, and they kind of set the standard.
While it is not necessary to go overboard with your birthday invitations, it is critical to use them as an opportunity to decide on your birthday colors, theme, and other details.

Fun Things to do at Birthday Party
A word about choosing the best party activity for your child’s birthday. You are the most familiar with your child. You also want your child’s birthday party to be enjoyable. However, there are a few things to keep in mind when selecting a game or activity for the party.
Planting a Mini Garden
Kids enjoy getting their hands dirty (with cute dollar store gardening gloves, of course), so why not let them each create their own little garden to take home?
I adore kids’ birthday party activities that also serve as a take-home favor! Simply buy a few different flower flats and let each child choose a handful to plant in soil. They can also learn how to care for their garden!
Cake Decoration
Allow your children to “paint cakes” with edible food-safe paints if they enjoy helping in the kitchen and arts and crafts. Choose a few colors, grab some sponges and paint brushes, and let them paint!
Cupcake Decoration
Similarly to cake painting, my daughter and her friends decorated cupcakes for her “Sprinkle Themed Birthday Party” one year. I used dollar store art palettes filled with various sprinkles. You can personalize the sprinkles to match the theme of your party.
Because they don’t need to use a frosting tube or anything, this is a great idea for younger children. Simply sprinkle on top of the cupcakes! These were a huge success!
