Musical themed Birthday Party
A music-themed birthday party is, well, music to our ears. Everything from the drum cake on the groovy dessert table to the make-your-own musical instrument party favors is jammin’.
Party Foods Ideas
Serve small slices of pizza to your little musicians, or cut hot dogs, hamburgers, or sandwiches in half. Less food will be wasted, and band members who are more hungry can eat more. In addition, here are some food ideas inspired by music that you can serve.
Drums Set
Serve with pretzel rods and chocolate pudding snack cups. Children can drum on the closed snack cups with pretzels before dipping them in the pudding!
CD Pizza
Make pizza bagels with the label “gold records.”
CD Sugar Cookies
Frost round sugar cookies with white frosting and use frosting to add details like the center hole and a band name.
Stage
Make a stage for your guests to perform at your party! Make your stage out of plywood and black felt. Then, set up some floor lamps and musical instruments. This is also a fantastic photo opportunity for your guests! Make a playlist by asking each guest about their favorite song or genre!
Notes
Trace a music note in pencil on some black construction paper. Then, cut out the music notes and use them to decorate the party. These are also extremely simple to make!
Photo Backdrops
Make this a memorable party. Photos are the best way to accomplish this. Purchase some amusing photo props and, if possible, a backdrop. This results in a nice, clean image.
