RSVP with Style: How to Create Response Cards That Wow
Your wedding invitations are a big deal. They’re the first thing your guests will see, and they set the tone for the big day. But don’t forget about those little response cards that come with your invitations.
They’re just as important, and you want them to stand out too! So, let’s talk about how to create response cards that will make your guests go “wow.”
Be Creative with Your Wording
When it comes to response cards, you have a lot of creative freedom. Don’t feel like you have to stick to the traditional “M____ Accepts with Pleasure” or “M____ Regrets.” Get creative and have fun with your wording.
Make it unique and reflective of your personalities and the tone of your wedding. Just make sure the information you need (name, number of guests, meal choices, etc.) is included.
Make Them Match Your Invitations
Just like your invitations, your response cards should match the theme, color scheme, and design of your wedding. Coordinate your response cards with your invitations so they look like a complete set. This will make a big impact and show that you put thought into every aspect of your wedding.
Use High-Quality Paper
Response cards are often smaller than invitations, so you don’t need a lot of paper, but make sure what you do use is high-quality. Thick, luxurious paper stock will give your response cards a premium feel, and it will make them stand out from the rest of the mail.
Play with Shapes and Sizes
Response cards don’t have to be a standard size or shape. Get creative and play around with different shapes and sizes to make your response cards unique.
For example, you could use a scalloped edge, a circular shape, or even a fun die-cut design. Just make sure your guests can still fit all the information you need on the card.
Add a Pop of Color
Just like your invitations, response cards are a great place to add a pop of color. Whether you opt for a colorful border, a patterned background, or a brightly colored envelope, a little bit of color will make your response cards stand out.
Response cards are an important part of your wedding invitations and can be just as fun and creative as your invitations themselves. So, don’t be afraid to get creative, have fun, and make your response cards “wow” your guests. Good luck!
