Planning a seven-year-birthday party for your kids may appear to be a daunting task, but we understand how important it is for you and your child to have a particular celebration. From venues to food to gifts, here’s everything you need to know.
7th Birthday Party Ideas
Birthdays are special moments, especially when they are celebrated by your kid. Birthdays are a big deal for kids, so it’s important to make them special.
Parents may spend days thinking about how to make their child’s birthday special. However, it is crucial not to pay extra costs in the process. Here are some 7th-year-old birthday party ideas to help you plan a memorable birthday for your child while staying within your budget.
Birthday Decorations
This is a great option if your baby girl is a member of the pink brigade. For her birthday, stick to a pink color plan and decorate everything in colors of pink that complement each other. This is a stress-free option for your girl’s birthday party.
Festive Backdrop
The base for this punchy backdrop is a few dollars worth of tissue paper confetti. Choose any statement for your backdrop and hang it behind a cake table or as a fun picture opp with a basket of decorative props.
Photo Cake Topper
These easy photo cake toppers will put the guest of honor in the spotlight. Simply cut out black-and-white photos of the honoree’s face with a variety of expressions, make party hats for each, and skewer them on wooden sticks. We defy you not to brag about how much fun you had!
Balloons with Streamers
Give your birthday party balloons a completely new spin: Tie a bright selection of ribbon with various lengths, thicknesses, and textures around huge helium-filled globes.
Tissue Paper Flowers
Real flowers are lovely, but they are costly and short-lived. Decorate the party venue with (nonperishable!) tissue paper blooms that you can make in a flash for a more cost-effective option.
Popsicle Stick Runner
When perfection isn’t the goal, as in this lovely table runner, you can’t go wrong. Make an affordable and festive runner with offset popsicle sticks and splatter paint in whatever colors match your party’s theme. And there you have it!
Party Foods
Choosing the perfect menu for kids can be difficult. Serve simple and appetizing cuisine to both the children and their parents.
Choco Fountain
A chocolate fountain is the epitome of decadence. Set out long toothpicks and tasty dishes of fruit, strawberries, marshmallows, graham crackers, rice krispies, and twinkies to dip in chocolate. This party idea is sure to make your event more fun and festive.
Pizzas
Allow kids to try their hand at baking pizzas. Prepare everything from the pizza bases to the sauces and toppings they choose, such as cheese, mushrooms, ham, pepperoni, sausage, and so on. Give them aprons and chef hats to add some extra fun.
Wand Fruits
Fairies, wizards, and other magical creatures can create fantastic magic wands out of fruit and marshmallow kebabs. For a fantastic touch, add a melon star (made with a cookie cutter) to the end of your kebab stick.
Popcorn
We drizzled white chocolate over popped corn and dusted it with colorful rainbow sprinkles to make our Princess Popcorn. Place it in the refrigerator to set before serving.
Shaped Sandwiches
Make a loaf of sandwiches with your favorite fillings and shape them using your favorite themed cookie cutters. What were we doing before the cookie cutter?
Birthday Cakes
Every birthday celebration begins with the cutting of the cake. For a 7-year-birthday, here are the best cake ideas.
Minion Cakes
The Minions have become a favorite among both children and adults with the debut of the 3D comedy film Despicable Me. See your little girl’s face light up when she sees a Minion cake for her 7th birthday.
Frozen Cakes
Every girl loves Elsa and Anna, so treat them to a Frozen-themed cake to make them feel like a princess or a queen.
Party Games & Activities
What better way to make a birthday party enjoyable than with games and activities? Here is a list of options for you to explore.
Treasure Hunt
You must give the players clues that will take them to a location or region where they will find another clue. One hint will lead to the next, eventually leading to the prize or treasure.
Sweeping Race
Give each youngster a broom and a ball and divide them into two groups. When the word “go” is spoken, one member from each group must begin sweeping the ball with the broom and carrying it to the opposite side, where another teammate awaits.
Once the ball has made it to the other side, the other teammate must do the same. This will continue until every member of the team has had their turn. The winning team is the one that finishes first.
Sleepy Monkeys
Children must pretend to sleep, and then an adult or the birthday girl/boy must disturb them by making them giggle or tickling them. The person who does not respond until the finish is the winner.
Telephone Games
Make a circle with all of the kids. You may start the game by having the birthday kid whisper something amusing but puzzling into their neighbor’s ears. The game continues as this person whispers to the next.
After one round has been completed, the last person to hear must pronounce it out loud. The original words must then be revealed by the birthday child. Try this game to see how quickly everyone laughs.
