There was once upon a time a joyful little girl who lived a lovely life. Before her parents made a huge mistake, she used to be happy. Instead of throwing her a storybook birthday celebration, they bought some drab streamers and a stale cake and called it a day. Oops
Throw a princess-themed fairy tale party that your little princess and her royal guests will never forget!
Princess Party Ideas
Princesses of all ages will love all of these fun and creative princess party ideas! Everything from delicious princess party food to decorations and of course, activities fit for a princess! It’s everything you need for the ultimate princess party!
Let the castles, glitter, and balloons fly! Here’s how to throw a princess party fit for a princess.
Simple Princess Party Themes
Instead of doing a pure princess theme and having the children dress up in princess dresses, we thought a pajama picnic would be a lot of fun! It reminded me a little of Ralph Wrecks the Internet’s cozy princesses!
Shop for the sweetest princess pajama sets, which are perfect for a hot summer day. They were also quite comfortable for all of the exciting things you had planned!
Also got each of the girls a matching set of slide shoes, which are a little more comfy to run around in than, say, glass slippers!
Princess Party Decorations
You can’t go wrong with color, sparkle, and shine when it comes to décor! Princesses, as we all know, love to shine!
Princess party room
It’s now time to turn your house into a wonderful realm. Fortunately, adding a dash of magic isn’t difficult. Fill some balloons, spread a pastel pink tablecloth, and hang some streamers, and you’re good to go.
Create a lovely area for the birthday princess to receive gifts or pose for pictures, such as an unique fairytale backdrop, if you want to take things to the next level. Fill an armchair with balloons or pile decorative tablecloths for a plush seat.
Princess confetti pack
Toss confetti up in the air! Any princess party will benefit from the addition of this princess confetti pack.
Princess photo booth
Use this massive carriage photo booth to capture the fun with the kids. Everyone will form a line to have their picture taken.
Pinwheel decorations
Add a pretty pinwheel decoration for a finishing touch. It’ll look great in any empty space you’re working with.
Dress Up Like a Princess
Without dress-up time, it’s not a proper princess party. For a princess fashion show, invite the guests to bring their favorite makeup, accessories, and gowns (and have some extras on hand, too).
Tutus in a variety of colors are required. Allow each princess to take a turn strutting their stuff in full regal style, complete with stick-on earrings and plastic heels, of course.
Princess Party Games & Activities
Keep the royal highnesses occupied with a calendar of events that will keep the party going strong from beginning to end.
However, don’t be concerned if things don’t go as planned. Your child will undoubtedly feel extra special if they’re having a good time.
It’s time for some games now that the princesses are all dressed up! Work off the sugar with a Disney princess dance party and sing-along featuring songs from Frozen through Snow White.
Coloring corner
Do something to show how generous princesses are. It would be enjoyable for the girls to color and create images that they could take home and gift to others.
Mermaid racing
The girls are mermaids in this amusing rendition of a race. Everyone must act as if they have fins and slither to the finish line like mermaids, with their legs straight. Because they have fins instead of legs in this game, they wiggle.
For this game, all you actually need is a lot of room. You can also bind their legs together with a soft fabric rope, but this isn’t required. If you have them, you can even make mermaids out of them.
Princess Party Cakes
A vibrant pink layered princess cake is the perfect choice for a princess party. You can also add a tiara or a glistening wand candle to the top for added flair.
At outdoor gatherings, pink velvet cupcakes are easy to grasp and devour. If you want to go all out, make this show-stopping unicorn cake with your best decorating abilities.
Princess Party Supplies & Favors
You’ll need these couple supplies to start arranging a party that rivals even the most opulent royal balls. Including:

- Disney Princess Party Supplies
- Princess Toy Assortment
- Disney’s Frozen II Movie Tableware Kit

- White Ribbon Wands
- Princess Hats
- Princess Cupcake Toppers
- Princess Water Bottle Labels
- Winter Princess Paper Cups
These wonderful party treats will send the princesses home. You might even want guests to unwrap their gift bags during the party to assist them in getting ready.
Instead of having inexpensive party gifts that will be thrown away, have the girls search for princess items to retain as a prize for completing the Ariel treasure hunt.
You may discover an amazing array of princess bags in various sizes, shapes, and budgets at your local store, so I picked up a bag for each of the girls to match their pajamas.
You can also select from a variety of princess toys, such as dolls of various types. Choose a doll that corresponds to each of your princesses’ age (for example, a Moana baby for the youngest princess) and place it in the bags!
Princess Party Invitations
Do you want to try your hand at making something yourself?
Put all of the party details on gorgeous pastel paper, roll it up, and tie it all together with gold ribbon. Voila! You have a magnificent scroll invitation suited for a king or queen.
Alternatively, you may simply use the free printables we’ve provided to create some artwork.
Indulge in regal flourishes. Send your regal invitations approximately a month before the big event. Hand-deliver them to each guest’s residence for a special touch. They’ll think they’ve been invited to a wonderful party.
