Because there is so much to arrange for, December may be a hectic month. Of course, Christmas is a significant event, and New Year’s Eve is only a week later.
For our New Year’s dinner party this year, we came up with a fantastic Boho Glam theme, and we’re so pleased to reveal all of the projects that went into putting the event together! Use our photographs as inspiration, or stay tuned this week as we reveal each project.

Party Decorations
For our Boho Glam party, we selected a gold and teal color palette, with other metallics thrown in for variation. The look achieves the ideal combination of dark, smoldering colours and luxury, brilliant hues.
With this design concept, we wanted to combine old Hollywood glitz with a laid-back, eclectic vibe. It was also a lot of fun to see it come to life!
We opted to center everything around our feather design after we established our color scheme. The show-stopping paper feather backdrop was then created by our artisan.
Our gold crepe paper ball lantern looked stunning against this setting. Feathers were used in the table arrangement, and we produced charming drink stirrers.
DIY Accessories
Not only decorated in a Boho Glam style, but we also made some unique accessories and props to go with the theme. For our guests to wear, we created DIY headpieces out of our paper feathers and antlers.
Because you can customise the headpieces to make them unique to you, they are a terrific project for New Year’s. We also created printable hats, crowns, and picture props in the teal and gold color scheme to give you more alternatives for accessorizing.
These are quite simple to create and are ideal for anyone who is short on time while planning a New Year’s celebration.
Gold Glitter
It’s all about the glamour and glam on New Year’s Eve. Hang gold glitter dipped feathers throughout your room to add a touch of glam to your boho celebration! The glitter would reflect the light nicely.
You may also make a feather chandelier. Dip them in gold or silver glitter to make them stand out even more. Dip them in rainbow colored glitter to make them more colorful.
Bubbly Bar
What’s a new year’s eve celebration without a glass (or thirteen) of champagne? For those who don’t want champagne, you can set up a soda or cocktail bar. But, truly, Who doesn’t enjoy a glass of bubbly?
Dance Floor
Of course, you’ll need enough room to shake your booty and dance your heart out. You may rent a disco ball, lighting, and sound system from a variety of locations.
It may be costly, but you wouldn’t be arranging a fantastic New Year’s Eve party if you weren’t willing to spend some cash, right?
If you don’t want to spend money on equipment, turn on Spotify or iTunes and crank up the volume!
Party Games & Activities
Our New Year’s Eve party games for all ages help you throw a fantastic celebration that your guests will remember all year. Most merely demand a little forethought and no special equipment. So get ready for the most epic New Year’s Eve bash ever!
Ribbon Dancing
Ribbon cut into three-foot lengths, one for every two guests, is required for this game. Gather all of the ribbons in the middle and have guests grab a ribbon’s end. When you let go, the two guests who are clutching the ends of the same ribbon will be dancing partners.
Guests will have a good time when they see some odd pairings. You can repeat the pairings as many times as you like and it will still be pleasant.
Banana Bump
Each of your guests will require a banana and an orange. Place a hula hoop in the center of the room and have the participants form an equal-distance circle around it. The objective is to get the bananas and oranges into the hula hoop.
Because the bananas are tied around the participants’ waists, roughly a foot off the ground, the activity becomes more challenging and enjoyable.
Players are not permitted to use their hands during the game. The winner is the first person to successfully place their orange in the hula hoop circle.
Song Matching
Instruct your guests to write the opening few lines of a song on a lengthy piece of paper as soon as they arrive. Save half of the slips for later in the party. Announce that it is time to use their song lyrics whenever guests appear to be bored.
Distribute the slips and instruct your guests to seek out the individual holding the slip that corresponds to their lyric. The game is won by the player who is the first to do so. This method can also be used to find dinner or dance companions.
