Yaaay! Your baby is a year old! You’ve seen it all. He’s no longer the frail newborn you’ve been watching every minute. He’s surpassed so many milestones that it’s difficult to keep track! He’s also passed her first birthday. How quickly time passes. But, if we’re being honest, we all know that the first time a baby is born is for the parents.
Because it represents the anniversary of the 1st birthday, and in this case, your child’s, a birthday is a remarkable, memorable, and spectacular occasion. If you’re at a loss for what to do, consider throwing a Disney-themed party.
1st Birthday Party Ideas – Walt Disney
Disney themes always create a lasting impression. Children are enchanted by the characters, who provide them joy, laughing, and love. Here are some suggestions for parents who want to arrange a Disney-themed first birthday celebration for their child.
Disney has been a part of many children’s lives since they were young. Follow these guidelines to throw your baby a memorable Disney-themed first birthday!
Party Decorations
From a young age, Disney characters find a way into the hearts of children. It’s no surprise if your child smiles at a Disney figure or movie. The first step in birthday preparations is to choose characters.
Buy Disney character-themed birthday supplies and decorations. Borrow, hire, or DIY the supplies if your budget is tight. When it comes to preparing the party, your objective should be to make it a memorable one for your child, and if renting or borrowing Disney party materials helps you reach that goal, go for it.
Look for plush toys, costumes, and miniatures that complement the Disney theme, in addition to appropriate birthday supplies. For a truly stunning impression, look for movie posters and backdrops.
Photo Banner
Cardstock can be used to match the theme of your party; if you can’t locate the right colors, try your local craft store’s scrapbook section, which is where I found the dark and lighter teal tones.
Caddy Basket
One of my favorite ways to keep utensils, plates, and napkins tidy is by using a wooden utensil caddy basket. For cookouts, birthday parties, and picnics, I’ve used it at least a dozen times this year.
Mylar Balloon
The Mickey Mouse AirWalkers Mylar Balloon will complete your Mickey Mouse celebration. This 3 foot balloon, combined with the Mickey Mouse Backdrop Set and stick props, was a tremendous hit, providing hours of entertaining and memorable photo opportunities.
To get all of the characters, including Daisy, Goofy, and Donald Duck, you’ll need both Mickey Mouse Photo Stick Props and Minnie Mouse Photo Stick Props.
Tableware
Tableware with Mickey and the gang on it is a good idea. Wrap red cutlery in black napkins and seal with red paper with white dots to resemble the mouse’s pants.
Floral Centerpieces
Combine foam balls and kabob sticks to make the character’s head for a beautiful flower arrangement. After that, use extra-fine glasshead pins to cover all of the foam balls in fake flowers.
Table Mats
Scan a picture of Mickey and his friends from a coloring book onto a piece of 8-1/2 x 11″ paper. Use them as placemats at the dinner table after laminating them. Set out individualized exercise mats as an alternative.
Party Invitations
For birthday parties, invitations are a must-have. What’s the best way to make one-of-a-kind Disney-themed invites for your one-year-old? First, select a lovely photo of your child and add their favorite cartoon character to it. To create a stunning impact, place the lovely photograph on the cover of your invitation.
Request that a creative friend or family sketch a picture of your baby sitting next to or playing with his favorite Disney characters. Not only will your invitations be one-of-a-kind, but you’ll save money. Print a card with the birthday information and utilize Disney characters as rubber stamps. Include this information in the invitation if your gathering requires dressing up.

Mickey Mouse and his Clubhouse pals have teamed up to provide you with some unique and exciting Mickey Mouse Birthday party ideas and games. Each Mickey Mouse pal has come up with their own creative birthday party game ideas.
Donald’s Sitting Duck
While the party music is playing, the kids do the duck walk and chicken dance in this amusing Mickey Mouse game. They must drop and sit on the floor as quickly as possible when the party music ends. The person who has sat the longest is the last one to leave.
Mickey Mouse Pinata
This beautiful Mickey Mouse party pinata will round up any Mickey Mouse party. When the candy is distributed, provide bags for the kids to scoop it into. I’d also recommend keeping an extra bag of candy on hand for the kids who don’t get much candy during the rush.
Party Cakes
Mickey Mouse cakes are ideal for a first birthday celebration. You can make a fondant-sculpted Mickey shaped head cake with all of his distinct traits.
When arranging a child’s birthday party, there is a lot to consider. Order a cake, make your own Mickey Mouse cake, or put together a DIY cupcake tower. Your kids will adore your treats, no matter how you serve them. These suggestions will help you improve your dessert or help you find the ideal one for blowing out some party candles.
