Looney Tunes initially featured Warner-owned musical compositions via the exploits of cartoon characters such as Bosko and Buddy. Later Looney Tunes films starred Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd, Tweety, Sylvester, Granny, Yosemite Sam, Foghorn Leghorn, Marvin the Martian, Pepé Le Pew, Witch Hazel, Speedy Gonzales, the Tasmanian Devil, Wile E. Coyote, and RoadRunner. These characters are usually referred to as “Looney Tunes” or “Looney Toons.”
Party Food and Drink Ideas
We’ve got you covered with all the kids’ birthday food ideas you’ll need, whether you’re looking for no-fuss finger food or show-stopping healthy platters. If you’re on a budget and need ideas for what to serve at your child’s party, or if you’re willing to go beyond, we’ve got recipes and ideas for you, as well as recommendations for planning and prepping ahead of time.
Mini pizzas
If you don’t feel like making the pizza dough from scratch, you can try using naan bread, crumpets or pittas. Alternatively, you can make pizza pinwheels, if you’re feeling really fancy.
Party sandwiches
Remember to keep the combinations simple, like grated mild cheddar and ham. Small children also like sandwiches cut into shapes with biscuit cutters, if you can be bothered.
Tiny pinwheel sandwiches
Flatten the bread with a rolling pin, remove the crusts, apply filling, then roll up tightly and wrap in cling film. Stick in the fridge for 30 minutes, then cut slices so you get a lovely spiral effect.
Sparklers
Plain breadsticks, with the end dipped in melted chocolate and then hundreds and thousands or chocolate sprinkles. They look very pretty, the children like them and they’re not overly sweet as the chocolate element is pretty small.
Number biscuits
Cut the biscuit dough into circles, then press the number cookie cutter in the middle (enough for an imprint, not to go all the way through).
Sausage Rolls
Perfect for picnics and for parties, these yummy savoury bites go down a storm with ketchup. What’s more, they taste even better when homemade.
Cucumber and Carrot Batons
Aim to include some healthy snacks as part of the party food spread. Carrot and cucumber batons are a great option and most kids love them! Add a side of sour cream or hummus as a yummy dip for them too.
