When our son turned three, we held a party with a Pororo theme. As usual, I am late with some posts, but this one has been due for a while. Currently, my son will turn 4 years old in October. I’m hurrying to share some posts about his Pororo Birthday Party before he turns 4 years old.
Party Decorations
A Penguin birthday party can be decorated in a variety of ways. Use black and white for everything, blue and white for snowy decorations, or a combination of the two.
By spray painting large cardboard boxes or hay bales white and piling them up in front of the party location, you can make the front yard resemble an iceberg.
Create penguin footprints out of orange or black paper, cut them out, and tape them to the path leading to the party location. Alternatively, you can just draw them in sidewalk chalk.
Make snow drifts out of cotton batting and scatter it all about the Penguin party location.
Snowflakes can be manufactured or purchased, affixed to windows and doors of the party entry, and hung from trees.
Using a white tablecloth and cotton batting for snow drifts, the party table may be made to appear as though it is blanketed in snow.
Alternately, use black and white to complement penguin colors while decorating.
Have the birthday guests add sugar cubes (or ice cubes! ) to little silver plates filled with Kool-Aid (serve non sweetened Kool-Aid).
Birthday Cakes
Before everything I wanted to plan his Pororo themed birthday cake. When I checked online, I could find beautiful Pororo cake design ideas. However, as we celebrated his birthday at his playgroup, I had to check with the teacher. Instead of cutting a birthday cake and serving the kids, the teacher was happy to have cupcakes. I loved that idea too as cupcakes are easy to serve to the kids.
Party Games
Kids compete to determine whose team can complete a course the fastest while jogging or walking with a balloon between their knees. Guests should be divided into two teams and instructed to line up at the starting location. Set up orange cones or chairs on the opposite side of the playing area to indicate the locations that players must sprint to (and past) before returning to their teams.
After passing the balloon to the subsequent team member, they repeat the process until everyone has taken a turn. The winning team is the first to have all of its “penguins” cross the finish line. If they drop the balloon, they have to start over at the beginning. For safety, inflate many balloons for each squad.
Party Invitations
Our original birthday party invites are the perfect way to commemorate your child’s special day. A winter birthday is the ideal occasion to use this Pororo the Little Penguin-themed invitation.
