Party Decorations
Collect a range of cardboard boxes in various sizes (if you don’t have any on hand, you can buy some at post offices, storage facilities, or ask guests to bring some). Spray paint the boxes different colors and arrange them around the space.
Wrap the front door with heavy-duty foil and post a banner that says, “Welcome to Earth, Robots!” ” Place several things and equipment, such as a lamp, a pair of binoculars, a mixer, or a vacuum cleaner, on the table and apply sticky wiggly eyes to make them look like robots with faces.” Wrap them in foil for a futuristic effect.
Hang a sign that says “Buy n Large” (as shown in the film) and a few hundred large silver helium balloons. Inflate balloons at the party location with a Balloon Time Helium Balloon Kit.
Make wiggly eyeballs for the balloons and let them float over the crowd at the party. Cover the table with a silver Mylar tablecloth and use small action figures and foil-wrapped objects to create a WALL-E tableau as a centerpiece.
Party Foods Ideas
Serve freeze-dried astronaut snacks and drinks to your guests. Make robot sandwiches by cutting sandwiches into squares, rectangles, and triangles. Make eyeballs out of raisins or another type of fruit or vegetable. Make a cake fashioned and decorated like WALL-E, or top a sheet cake with characters from the film.
Send the guests home with the silver helium balloons, pincher hand extenders, glow sticks, WALL-E characters, and their own homemade robots.
