We planned an entire “underwater” adventure for the kids, complete with floating fish, sea-themed food, and a variety of games and activities. Continue reading to learn all about it! Especially the free printables!
You might think these are a bit random, but it doesn’t. The reason was I wanted to capture everything that my children already had shown their loves toward it. From adorable graphics of Octonauts characters, to the lovely cute wordings that will take the center stage.
The idea here is trying to show it to everyone that our in-house party could be as awesome as booking an entire café or restaurant. With all items that you already had in your house; you can simply buy less stuff than you are hosting your party in other place.
Octonauts Party Decorations
A. Underwater Party Tent
Okay, so technically, the party tent wasn’t underwater. But we decorated an inexpensive backyard party tent to make everyone feel like they were under water. That included plenty of simple things like:
- 18-inch-wide blue mesh ribbon draped along the ceiling and hanging down the sides of the tent,
- Sea creature balloons hanging from the ceiling with fishing line,
- Crepe paper seaweed along the walls, and
- Fishbowl filler and decorations as centerpieces
