One of the most popular wedding themes among today’s couples is rustic. It’s also not difficult to understand why. Many people find a rustic or country wedding’s appearance and feel alluring since it has such a personal and private feel about it.

Rustic Reception Decor
To complement my wedding theme, I add some rustic decor to my reception.
I made an outside bar out of wine barrels and topped it with a wooden board as a focal point for my cocktail hour. I finish it off with some dried flowers and I’ve got the perfect drink-serving display!
Lanterns are a must-have rustic design item that transports my guests back in time. I use them as an accent piece and fill them with fresh flowers for added appeal! To make a nice centerpiece, I also use wooden crates, various candle designs, and glass bottles.
I am a huge fan of candles. My rustic wedding will be enhanced by the use of candles. I just can’t seem to get enough of them.
When it comes to rustic candle holders, there are numerous possibilities, but one of the most popular is a galvanized metal holder. Simple white candles in a glass container are also a favorite of mine.
Wooden benches are ideal for providing open-air sitting in a banquet-style setting. If you want a more traditional look, I also have some lovely wooden chairs.
Burlap is used to decorate the location, which gives it the farmhouse atmosphere that I want for a rustic wedding.
Hanging some rope bunting over the table is a simple and easy way to spruce up any table. If you don’t have a lot of extra tablecloth to work with, this is also the best option.
I use wooden signs to direct guests to the appropriate locations for the ceremony or celebration. You can even use them as part of your decor if you write a funny message on them. Maybe a hashtag for your wedding? It’s your big day, so enjoy it! Chalkboard signs are also a favorite of ours.
Flowers in season-appropriate colors are one option for a rustic wedding centerpiece. I wanted my centerpieces to have an autumn atmosphere, so I combined red and orange roses with maple and oak leaves.
This will give off a warm vibe without being overbearing. For a gentle sense of spring, I also lay bulbs on top of flower arrangements.
If you want to use candles, use taper candles in clear or amber glass jars with ridged lids.
Large pillar candle holders can also be used, with the pillars arranged around your centerpiece.
Another possibility is to combine candles with rustic materials like dried flowers fashioned from twigs or branches.
For my centerpiece, I chose jars with removable lids so that I could simply change out the contents. Because jars come in a variety of shapes and sizes, they may be placed on any wedding table without blocking the view of guests.
Bring the outside in with blossoms that are simple but beautiful.
I want my wedding to feel more rustic, then I use flowers with green leaves and stalks. Furthermore, I use a variety of flower colors to accomplish this appearance, such as rich purples and vivid oranges.
Many people believe that using only one sort of plant will make their wedding feel more rustic, but I believe that using a range of various varieties will do the trick. As a dinner centerpiece, for example, I may use sage leaves and lavender plants in vases.
My blossoms were done up.
My wedding flowers, as well as other components such as design and colors, can have a significant impact on the rustic feel of the event.
Ribbons with natural textures, such as lace, or materials in earthy tones, for example, are excellent additions to any occasion to create a more natural environment.
One simple method to achieve this is to tie a ribbon around the handle of my bouquet or to wrap it around the outside of the centerpiece vases.
At my rustic wedding reception, I utilize florals or wreaths to create a lovely, rural atmosphere. To further emphasize the stylish vibe you’re striving for, say I do beneath an arbor of magnificent floral displays and greenery!
I want to go for a more rustic vibe, so I kept my floral display basic but lovely. Wild roses, peonies, native daisies, and asters are a few examples.
Lavender, sunflowers, and daisies are a few more choices. These flowers represent love and fertility, making them an ideal option for my rustic wedding!
Another alternative for my centerpiece is to use simple jars with blossoms inside. This gives it an exquisite aesthetic while still maintaining the rustic vibe I’m going for. White roses are also used in my wreath for a beautiful, timeless look.
Creating Warm Rustic Atmosphere
Wood accents inspire sentiments of woodsy, rustic vibe like nothing else. Wood accents are wonderful yet easy additions that drastically enhance the appearance of any rustic design, from centerpieces to candle holders, table numbers, and cake stands.
With wood slices, I get the perfect blend of rustic and stylish. I use them instead of chargers, as a cake stand, and as a basis for my floral arrangements!
